Friends of Ipswich Town FC

Friends of Ipswich Town FCKessingland CofE Primary Academy is excited to announce that it is now an official ‘friend of Ipswich Town FC’. Every fortnight, pupils who have achieved something special in the community and made the school proud, will be drawn from a hat to watch an Ipswich Town FC home game at Portman Road. Pupils will report on the match by creating a blog of their day to share on our website.

ITFC Education Programme

friends of ipswich town fcLaunched by Mick McCarthy and Cole Skuse in October 2014, the ITFC Education Programme is the pinnacle of the Club’s community work. Focused upon using football to inspire Primary School children with their reading and writing, the free programme offers local schools the chance to become a ‘Friend of ITFC’. Those schools who sign up to the partnership receive a number of benefits including; a pair of season tickets, signed memorabilia and access to one of the Club’s creative writing projects (relevant to KS2 literacy national curriculum) which involves a chance for the children to interview an Ipswich Town player or attend a home game as a ‘journalist’.
